Help Identifying This Vanson Jacket

Hey all, I've looked and can't seem to find the model type the the vanson website. The inside has a note about "solar" finishing on the jacket. Any idea?

There's a serial number inside but I'm not sure I should post that online

Im pretty sure the solar means glow in the dark. Other than that, they do custom work. Was that jacket on ebay?

Yeah, they do a lot of custom work like that for racers. It's always based on one of their existing models, though so this could just be a modified Manx or Cobra or whatever.

Yes, Vanson does a lot of custom work. I picked up this example from a kid who said his grandfather had it made in the colors to match his Harley Davidson.

I believe the jacket is a Sport Rider. It just has custom-cut panels which make the unique design. The "solar" is indeed a see-me-in-the-dark leather, which must first spend a lot of time in bright sunlight in order to work. My fully perforated Sport Rider jackets are some of my favorites for actually riding, especially in hot Oklahoma summers.

Got an email back from Constantin at Vanson (Great guy).

It's called "Photon" and indeed based upon the sportrider design. Thanks for the info
