Help identifying 2 pairs of MINT beautiful men's socks!

Hi,
I found these at a thrift store. These are absolutely mint with the tags still on the socks. These have the most beautiful colors. The gray pair is the best, but both are great.
Can someone help tell me where these are from?

I was surfing ebay and I saw 5 pairs selling for $200 + then I remembered my 2 pair and I wanted to get some ideas on the dating of these.

here is the photo of the top of 1 and the back top of the other

One is PENNY's and the other is some sort of belk. I wondered if it was part of the BELKS nowadays, but I dont think so. SOmeone told me these were from the 1940's.
I dont know though...
THey are silky and say Hose but these are mens size 10 or larger, 100% mens though

Nice looking socks. They are vintage (1940s would be my guess as well).
