Conundrums, conundrums...
Did you ever catch a scene in the middle of a classic movie or TV show, and had your interest piqued, but you had to stop watching for whatever reason, and you never got around to finding out what movie or show it was? Or you remember a scene, or characters, or some other aspect of something you saw a long time ago, but you can't remember the title? So you would like to watch it again, but you have no idea what movie it is!
Here's your chance to describe your vague (and possibly inaccurate) memories of classics whose titles you can't remember, and hopefully someone can help out.
I'll start: I think this was from the fifties. It seemed like a melodrama. An American guy is in some foreign country, and he is wooing a European gal who is rather naive and seems to believe the yarns he tells her. When she finds out that his story about California being famous for apples isn't true, but it's actually oranges, she slaps him across the face!
