Label has he address 232 Boylston St, Boston, MA (on Boston commons current location of the Four Seasons Hotel, built 1985). So I assume not recent

No copyright, no care tag, seems to be goatskin leather, w wooden buttons and satiny inner lining. I’m stumped

Help?

Well, Boston Magazine as them at 292 Boylston in 1979.

1979 Best Clothing, Western Wear

I could have seen a worn away address compounding my confusion, that makes sense! So, maybe 60s-70s? I figure vests were making more of a comeback then.

And thanks, clearly your googling skills are better than mine

Edit: It looks like rick walkers is one of the same! I’ve contacted them and will report back!

Edit #2: All they can say is that it’s older than 1980. They asked that I give them the jacket haha

My guess would be '70s. My grandfather had a number of leather jackets from that era with kind of a '20s-'30s look. I think there was a bit of a leather renaissance at that point--maybe a reaction to synthetics?
