I dance tango and i will attend a "Carlos Gardel" themed night! Carlos Gardel was a very popular tango artist of the early 30's , he died in 1935 in a plane crush! I will wear a special tango dress but need make up and hair advice! what was popular in the early 30's? I have ivory skintone, black hair and very dark brown eyes! my dress will be black! any ideas, please? thank you!

Perhaps it would be useful to look at the famous ladies of the 30s for makeup inspiration. For example, Greta Garbo, Marlene Dietrich and the lovely Jean Harlow. Bette Davis and Mae West, too! You'll notice their makeup style is quite similar. Taking the time to browse the Lounge will unearth a lot of information.
