The products look nice, I'll give them that. Good on them for trying to make stuff in the UK too, they deserve to be applauded for that.

They should change the marketing though...it's trying so hard to be "authentic" but just comes off as naff. Beards, tattoos, real ale, custom motorcycles? It's all a bit 'hipster' mid life crisis really...

First time I've heard of them, Those trousers do look good. Will watch with interest.

Seems to be some history on the company here

I think hipsterdom gets either a bad rap or thrown around too casually. While some "looks" can become after time cliche, hasn't that always been the case. I'm sure plenty of people ran around in there junior Brando or James Dean uniforms in the fifties. For the vast majority of people in the late sixties being a "hippie" was more of an asthetic than a political statement. If being a hipster is buying well made durable goods responsibly sourced from people earning a living wage, cliche or not, sounds like a good idea to me.

I really like their 1485 wool jacket, and their chukka boots - which I see are made by William Lennon.

I have a pair of their 177 moleskin trousers, they are a very solid pair of trousers well made from very good moleskin, I have the grey ones which I would say are more of a blue than a grey, be sure to measure your exact waist as they are not vanity sized (like most jeans) but are correctly measured (I take a 34 waist in denims but need a 36 in Hebtrocos). If you have any William Lennon boots you can understand why they paired up, I would describe them as the William Lennon of trousers, the only slight fault I could find with them is that the ankle is slightly narrower than Ideal for my liking (being tapered), I intend to get some of their Governor trousers next, but they are a very good solid pair of pants and good value too.
