Heavy duty AVIREX ANJ-4 sheepskin jacket

Original make AVIREX (probably late 80’s or early 90’s production with very sturdy construction, arm reinforcements, correct pattern, thick curly natural sheepskin, and overall nice shape. Color is BLACK, and does show normal wear to seams and high spots,, but no actual damage. Another catch-and-release that just didn’t fit me correctly! Jacket must weigh around 5-6 pounds and fleece is around 1/2 to 3/4’ thick. This thing is really warm, but just too short in the sleeves for my ape-arms.

CHEST (laid flat under pits x2) 25”
BACK LENGTH (from base of collar to end of lower edge) 24.5”
SHOULDER (across upper back) 23”
SLEEVE (from point of shoulder to end of cuff) 24.5”
WAIST (laid flat x2) 21.5”

does this have side entry pockets? looks like maybe?

Hi CBI, Just went and checked and you are correct! I never even noticed. However, they are nothing more than basically an unstitched portion of the patch pockets, so there is no internal bag-pocket. Its just an opening behind patch pocket. Very easy stitch shut if you don't like them.
