Just Spray Hat Saver ONLY ON THE OUTSIDE OF YOUR HAT One Time!

It sounds like a ScotchGuard type of procuct for application to cloth baseball type of caps, to competely seal the fabric from moisture (aka sweat) penetration.

I don't think this is the thing to use on FUR FELT, as FUR is far different from WOVEN WOOLENS.

IMHO only! It COULD be good, but I am very very hesitant to spray lacquer or whatever it is on the inside of my good felt hat..

Art, you have some "junkers" that you could test on, so I await your answer.

BTW, I have worn my felts on very hot days...they never sweated thru, vintage nor Optimo. I guess if I was running a John Deer in the back 40 it might be a different story. But a real farmer I'm NOT. Just a hobby garderner.

Roger, I just tried to order this product twice and their ordering shopping cart is not funtioning properly so, in my usual persistence, I called to order it. Hmmm had to leave a message. We'll see.

Scouts Rain & Stain

I got ahold of the Scouts Rain & Stain because on one particular fur fed that I have, I sweat through it and was worried about staining it. So I sprayed the outside and inside including the back of the sweatband very lightly and I haven't sweat through it since. The color or breathability were not changed in the slightest. Hope this helps.
