Does anyone know the hatmaker in AARP's commercials?
Well, they do have to make him look like a regular down-to-earth old guy with a truck and maybe a boat, not some snap-brimmed eccentric dandy who lives in the ooky part of town with a crazy cat lady and a houseful of bizarre junk.HarpPlayerGene said:At the end, the 'hatter' in the spot dons something that looks like a wool trilby with the brim down all around and heads out of the scene. hat bodies in different stages of completion
blocks
flanges
hat making tools etc....
Filmed at universal studios in Orlando FL. beginning of December 2008
If you're advertising to the American Association of Hot House Bohemians on Antiques Roadshow, why sure. The AARP on CBS Evening News is another thing.dhermann1 said:Ooky crazy bizarre is good. Isn't it???
Yeah. But still, it's good to get the hat word out...if I recall, at the end of the commerical the gent says "everyone should have a hat". Or something to that effect. Then he does indeed put on his lid with the rear of the brim turned down :eusa_doh:carouselvic said:What a buzz kill
