Picked this up not long ago, but I recently go one that fits my needs better and I want to keep the herd thinned down.
It's a vintage (not sure how old) Dobbs, originally from a men's store here in Kentucky. The color is predominantly gray with a slight brownish taupe tint. The color in the pictures is pretty accurate. 1 15/16" black ribbon, red feather. Crown is 5 1/2" open, with very little taper. Brim is 2 1/8" with an overwelt. Sweatband is soft and supple; the hat is in very good condition overall. It does have a few moth nibbles, all but one of which are on the underside of the brim and all of which are very slight and hardly noticeable. The one moth bite on the top side is right at the junction of the brim and crown, and it's at the back, to boot.I've included photos of all the mothing I see.
Asking $40 shipped in the continental US; Paypal preferred. This is your chance to get a big-head hat for cheap! PM me if you're interested.
