Hat to cannibal-ize

I've got a Knox straw with a just about perfect sweatband in 7 1/4. It's also got a kinda pleated blue band in excellent shape. The problem is, the brim is coming away from the crown and all it's good for is display. If anyone needs a Knox sweat or the pug type band for renovation, if that even seems practical, lemme know and I'll post or pm some pics. I figure I can send it out and take good karma as payment; maybe some chocolate...

The sweatband reads: The Mens Shop in Hotel Syracuse, which isuppose has some historic value....
Try as I might, I couldn't get a good pic of the split in the crown/brim, but make no mistake, it's there. It's probably a good lawn mowing hat, but it just seems a shame to waste the really good sweatband if you have a Knox that needs renovating
