whilst digging through the dreck on *bay, I came up with:
co. name: "All Brands"- Jiffy J-4000H Proline Commercial Hat Steamer-
B.I.N. $169.00; listed under Home&Garden>steamers.
has the item #220198027179- I have absolutely nothing to do with them or their agents, etc, etc. But do have eyes that see a lot of folks asking about how to steam hats, renovate them, etc.
I've got a slightly different model of the Jiffy Steamer, heats up to blasting steam in about 3-5 min., and does an industrial-strength steaming to the thickest felt. Don't take my redoubtable word for it, ask one of our hatters.
I know we're not supposed to drum up sales of auctions- I'm not doing that-
simply trying to help those who've been asked to give their wive's teakettles
back and get out of the damn kitchen!!
...(overheard yesterday- "There's Something Wrong!!") anon.
