Hi, Bill! I was pensively perusing these pages for info on my NOS Satellite.

It came in an "original" box, but not labeled as a Satellite box. Did you ever confirm whether or not you have the hat? I'd be interested in seeing it, if possible. If you no longer have the lid, maybe the box is lonely...

I'm thinking my find is an early production model of the Satellite, thus the hand written name inside the hat, and generic Stetson box of the era. Do I need a Satellite box, Rick?

I'll take a look and see if anything is written on them (I have two).

It IS an eye-catcher, Moon! Well, since there seems to be more empty Satellite boxes than Satellites, maybe I can talk someone out of one... for a few bucks.

I thought it would be nice to have a thread dedicated to hats that were originally offered in a box specifically marked with the model name of the hat inside.

these are the only ones I have ... but there has to me more... right ?

being a student of the game I am interested to see what you guys have or know of

all of these hats are 1940s models

I hope you guys enjoy this and add to it accordingly

Wow, this older thread had dusty cobwebs all over it! Let’s see if we can restore it a bit.

Got a Privateer box super cheap.
First time buying a hat box with no hat.
Same seller and same thing on this rare StylePark box. Not a named box, but went ahead and included it just because I’m happy to have found one.
Also have a Satellite hat box with original hat, but the hat doesn’t have Satellite embossed on the sweatband. Were they ever stamped as such?

I will likely never find a Stetson Privateer that fits, so I will probably just make a Privateer tribute made from a proper vintage light weight Stetson and sew on a pug, since I have several that’ll mimic the one I saw in another thread.
