Hello fellow forumers!
Recently, I decided to hang up my hat as a Hatmaker—pun intended. Having two kids a few years ago sealed the deal on what could have been a successful business making vintage inspired fedoras.
So what do I do with all of my equipment? I’d like to get a feeler on what the interest would be in buying my hat making equipment.
Here’s a rough idea of what I have:
- A dozen or so fur felt bodies (custom order from Tonak)
- 6” Hat blocks in all sizes from the masterful Guy Morse in the UK
- A heap of vintage ribbon grosgrain ribbon
- Hat steamer (EU 220v)
- Industrial steam iron (EU 220v)
- Misc sewing equipment
- Vintage Husqvarna Viking 80w sewing machine (used by a lot of hat guys)
- Other misc stuff for making hats
Anywho. Feel free to reach out to me on Instagram @raleighhatco or thru email aridotcom@gmail.com.
