I've apparently lost the ability to find any information online, so I'm helping some of you can help me.

I'm planning on wearing a hat like this..
6a00c2251d7762604a00c2251f3fbff219-200pi

..at an event this weekend, but I have no idea how to do my hair.

It's currently in a fairly short Louise Brooks style bob, but I wanted to try something different.

I've been trying to find inspiration online, but can only find pictures of people with long hair wearing them. [huh]

Oh thats a gorgeous fascinator!! Hmm as Lady Day suggested theres fingerwaves or on the hairstyles thread theres a pic of a lovely lady with red hair toward the end who had done rolls in her hair, perhaps something like that. I hope you enjoy your event too :)

You may want to do the rolls in front and opt to slick the rest back and add a false chignon?

You could also do something like this in back, just pop in a few curls with an iron and pin to make your hair look longer than it is. If it is really short at the nape, just blend down to as far and you can and spray the rest down. It will still look cute I think!

Also you could go ahead and pouf the back/crown and make it look like a big updo. This is for inspiration only, I don't mean to do a 60's do.. but you can tell she has short hair in the back but you wouldn't automatically think that from the way it's styled. Try something like this only with a more molded rolled look.

Wow.. that's um.. huge hair!!

I liked the first link, I shall have to play with fingerwaves. My attempts so far have failed miserably though. I'm not sure I could do rolls in the front, I may have cut the fringe too short [huh] (I'm never cutting myself a fringe ever again lol)
