Like a masked Victorian or possibly a 1920's style ball? I've always been interested in those and am considering sponsoring a big one around Halloween this coming year.

It was called the Black and White Ball but it was Black Tie and masks, no costumes. I've attend several of this ilk, they're quite popular on the big city charity circuit.classyguy said:I am a big Truman Capote fan and he hosted one every year in the 60's.
Sorta like today in Las Vegas. "What happens in Las Vegas, stays in Las Vegas"Idledame said:one of the purposes of the masked ball was to pretend you didn't know who anyone was, and then you could behave in ways you wouldn't normally.
