I can still rattle off my service number: 2306176. Can't remember my general orders, tho. Hey, it's been 45 years since boot camp.

Semper Fidelis! It is not JUST a slogan, but a way of life. My closest friends in this life are still the men I served with. My wife always marvels that I can bump into another Marine, young or old, and we can talk as if we have known each other for years. Happy birthday to all my brothers in arms!
