I have a gray Dobbs Fedora in size 7 5/8. I bought it on eBay (spent way too much) and it doesn't fit. I have a 24" head and this 7 5/8 is too large. I have tried to attach a couple of pictures but I seem to be having problems.
This Dobbs has a rolled and sewn edge and is lined. It is in OK to good shape. I changed the crease to a tear drop but it is easily workable. The felt is fairly soft. The sweatband is a little stiff. There is a tag under the sweatband that says 7 5/8. The inside circumference measures right at 24 1/8".
I don't know much about hats (probably why I spent too much on it). I think this is a good everyday "beater" or project hat. It comes in a Dobbs hat box which is also in OK shape.
Again, I know nothing about hats so I have no idea what to ask for this hat. So I will ask $50 plus shipping. If you are interested but that sounds too high make an offer. I really want to get this out of my closet.
