I think there's no way someone could look at shinki leather, tea core or not, and consider it overall inferior quality to anything. Not ideal for riding your motorcycle, maybe. But overall quality? Shinki tea core is just fantastic.
Totally agree. I would not use it for riding, unless I had nothing else and of course it's better than no leather.

Yep. Imo it's all about figuring out what you're looking your leather to do for you. For me, I want something that has great style, feels sturdy, and ages well... so a real mccoys jacket in shinki leather is perfect for me.

Agreed completely. You already know it's my favorite leather in the world.
