Just wanted to let my friends here know about the best kept secret on the internet.
Did you know if you go to Google and push the more on the left it will show a box for products. If you push this products you can put in any type of vintage clothing say by name or just vintage dress and it will bring up a ton of stuff and you can search by price or by era or name or site even.
http://www.google.com/products?q=vintage+1950s+dress&btnG=Search+Products&hl=en
Can look by grid like a gallery or by item list. Sandy

oh no... why did you have to tell me this? my boyfriend literally JUST told me to stop buying things... some sort of babble like "ohhh, we're running out of room in the apartment, we don't have enough closets blahblahblah..." can you believe that?

and now... THIS. thanks a LOT! ;-)

(i'm gonna have to get a spare apartment and turn it into a giant closet. i think that would solve the problem nicely.)

I love this feature. Especially the grid. It used to be called Froogle till this month believe it or not.
I buy to sell to wear to buy to sell to wear. I am addicted to vintage clothing. A vicious cycle I know.
For the record no kidding today on the news they actually said women have a shopping addiction gene. Like we didn't know that. :eusa_doh:

You are very welcome! Once upon a time when I started selling online in 2002 Google was a very useful tool. Then Ebay got a bright idea to pay affiliates to send all Google traffic to ebay. So when you were looking for insurance or homes for sale or anything imaginable you would suddenly find yourself on It.
Very annoying indeed to us online vendors who liked selling in online malls. People would steal our pixs, steal our descriptions etc. Then people looking for stuff would get to see cached items already sold on It. (no fun indeed)
Then for about 3 years Google decided to do a beta thingy called Froogle. Only thing is noone knew about it but dealers it seems. So now they have rolled out this updated version that shows products under Google but you still have to push the more........so pass the word.
I am at a mall called Tias which has been around since Ebay and it is made up of over 800 stores which many sell vintage clothing. It shows very well on this new Google product thingy if people are able to find it. lol
