Goodwear M-422 – sz 46 Flying Tigers

Here is a beautiful Goodwear M-422 with custom patches in size 46. I picked this up in the Fall from Nick123 and I’ve decided it’s just a bit too large for me unless wearing a heavy sweater underneath, so I’m going to move it on. Original thread here:

This is a beautiful jacket, just the right weight leather and the attention to detail is superb. Very comfortable cut. The period Talon zipper is excellent. It’s a Goodwear.

One mark in the leather to note is on the front near the tiger patch, a small roundish dark spot (see the 4th photo below). Looks like it might be original to the jacket.

I’m 6 feet/175 today and typically best wear a 42-44, and in this is a full size too big unfortunately. Measurements are in the pics.

$650 PPFF delivered in the US. Price is firm on this one, thanks.

I think this was the jacket that nick purchased from Raphael, of werber fame..... Raph had some beautiful jackets.

On hold for now. Big or not it’s super comfortable and I’m going to wear it for the rest of this season at least. Thanks everyone.
