For those of you who are jazz fans, you might want to check out Dick Buckley's Sunday jazz show on Chicago Public Radio. For three hours every Sunday starting at noon central time he plays jazz, mostly from the 1930s, '40s, and '50s, though sometimes he play music from earlier and later.
He is 83 and was around when many of the jazz greats were the new thing. When he plays music, he's always got a story or two to go along with it. It is like you are sitting in his liviing room while he plays records and reminisces. It is truly great.
Those of you who aren't near Chicago can listen in on

The station is changing formats soon, and it is likely his show will go off the air, so I wanted to mention this to you all so that you could get a listen.
Enjoy!
