Going to Mexico...

...on a business trip, and I wonder what kind of hat (singular!) I might buy there. I remember a lot of people wearing "white (straw?)cowboy hats" in the mountains near Mexico city, but then, that was in the early 1960's...
I certainly wouldn't be looking at anything expensive, though...
Any suggestions?
Does any one know a good "western" store in Mexico city? Actually, I'm thinking of leather goods, not "kinky" but belts, wallets, travel bags...

Johnny, thanks - my apologies, I've been extremely busy and inattentive to the forum.
I'll be staying very very near the cathedral in the zócalo/centro histórico area.
The way things are moving, it looks like my "free" time will be limited to perhaps only one day, but I should have time for visiting a hat/western wear/leathergoods shop...
