Glenn Air Hat

I'm in need of your help as I'm trying to help an acquaintance of mine with trying to find a hat that his father designed in the 30s. So here's the gig, his father designed a hat called a "Glenn Air" hat in the 30s. It was mass produced and over the years his mother and father had a couple of these hats and pictures there to. His father died quite some time ago and he's never seen the hat however his mother and father have been talking about it for years. His mother, now in her 90s has as the march of time gone on lost the only picture that they have of that hat. I'm trying to see if I can help him:

1. Find the hat... it's called a "Glenn Air" and apparently it was a bit hot during the early 30s.

2. At least find a picture of it.

His mother is now in the hospital down in Southern California and he'd like to be able to find this information before she passes on. So as you'd imagine, I was touched by the story and the intrigue so I'm trying to help him find information. Does anyone have any ideas?

Jon, I HAVE heard of this hat and believe I have owned one in the past but with my selling most of my collection this year I don't think I can help at the moment. JP..Sharptoys...you are terrific at researching..think you can find an ad?

Any help...

Any help that you gents can help me with I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm actually going to be going to some of the local historical archives and see what I can find. I think this would make a great conversation piece someday.

I have many Hat Life magazines fron the 1930's . If there is a mention of the hat in there I will let you know .:cool2:
