Gibson and Barnes "Raider" Goatskin Jacket

Hi,

One more jacket needs a good home. This is a size 44 Gibson and Barnes "Raider" model in their seal-brown goatskin, very similar in many ways to an M422 other than it has a leather collar and non-patch pockets.

It's a terrifically well-made jacket that's hardly been worn. It's a custom in that I had them put size 44L sleeves on a 44R body. All good except I didn't realize that their sizes run large and I could have done the same with a 42, maybe even a 40. It's big all over for me. A size 46 tall could fit this jacket. It's in great shape and will outlast most of us.

I wear a 46R jacket and 6' tall. What's the chance of a fit? Perhaps you could send some more measurements. A few pics if no trouble.

Hi Dogberd,

I'd say a pretty good chance it would fit you in the body. G&B run pretty large in general. The jacket has back pleats like a G-1, underarm gussets, measures 26.5" pit to pit, 25" down the sleeve to the end of the leather, and 7 inches from the collar seam to the shoulder seam. Sorry it took so long to reply, I'm new to this and didn't know where to look for your reply.
One more question: is your sleeve measurement from end of epaulet to end of leather? If so, we may have a good fit.
