Getting measured for some Hemrajani Bros. suits tomorrow, any tips?

Hey fellas, I'm seeing Joe H of the Hemrajani Brothers/mytailor.com tomorrow to get measured for a few fall/winter weight suits.

I'm not getting anything fancy or vintage inspired, just conservative (boring) suits for work in 13 oz flannels . . . I figure, since I now spend approx. 27% of my life in business wear, I might as well make the most of it.

Anyone have any insights about what to ask for? I'd be interested in hearing for someone who's gone through the process before.

I've heard high waist and armholes are something that must be specifically requested, if on desires such things. Is there anything else I should know?

I envy you. Too bad they don't come to Berlin. I have some more shirts on order, though.

I would advise that you order just one suit when dealing with a new tailor. Once that suit meets your approval, then you can order others working off its pattern/measurements. Actually, that's the way that the better tailors and shirtmakers operate with first time customers.

After meeting Joe and his son in person all I can say is wow! Once I got into explaining the details I wanted, Joe really came alive. He got excited about the project and seemed to anticipate every detail I wanted.
