Robert, Wow! That is a really old one! I don't think I have seen that Habsburg logo and JHS script before. You are landing so many great hats I can't keep up! Amazing!

Alan and Steve, my sincere thanks for the kind words. I really appreciate them.
The seller tells me it is size 57, but it is a, 58. I will put some Cork or foam stripes under the sweatband.
The felt on that is very very thick and stiff and holds any shape

C. G. Wilke (Guben) Melone, size 59cm. I am thinking 1930s. Guben was the major German hat making center prior to WWII. I have never encountered a soft felt from this era and even the Melone are a rare find.

Here is my newest, well its actually probably my oldest hat. I couldn't find much on the Philipp Neubauer name, but the felt feels really nice. Its stamped 1911! Its a very interesting hat in that its flanged like a homburg, but the brim is soft like a fedora.

Super! Where did you find it? Is it 1911 because it looks like it could be 1941 from the photo. Also cannot tell if it has brim binding. I am not sure if I have encountered a Philipp Neubauer before.

I found it on ebay Germany. Its definitely 1911, I will try to get better pics than from my phone. It has normal homburg brim binding.
