here's a hat I got at the same antique mall as the Lee I posted last week.
It's a later hat than most I buy, but,I got it for only seven bucks, and you really can't beat that. Plus- I needed (well maybe wanted is a better word) another summer hat.
The tag says 7-1/8, but it fits like a normal 7-1/4. It seems that the "custom made" hats run big most of the time.

What is the sweat made of? I like the Milan weave very much.

Douglas- the sweat's made of an odd material. It's squishy like rubber, but it has the feel of leather. some strange artifical stuff I guess. I'm not to wild about the band in that the colors are so faded, but the way it's on there, it's imposible to take off without the sweat coming out as well. It's just a generally oddly put together hat.
I'll be wearing it as soon as it's warm enough. give it 6 or 7 months.
