G-1 Jacket for USCG

Fellow Collectors,
Just got a G-1 that has two labels in it. It has the US Wings label and a Cooper Sportswear label. This jacket has the side pockets that US Wings puts in the USCG jackets. Was this jacket one of the prototype jackets that US Wings developed to get the contract away from Orchard? Just wondering. Thanks for the information. Stay safe and well.

This doesn't directly answer your question but US Wings bought out Cooper Sportswear from Neil Cooper and for a while some items were sold with 2 labels. The Cooper designation was eventually ceased.
