I love the O Brother soundtrack, but to my shame I have to admit I have never seen the Ox-Bow Incident!

...and it looks like I can't make that trip anyway.
But I will guess, (after looking at the CD's booklet) ~ "You Are My Sunshine", by Jimmie Davis and Charles Mitchell. Seems like the most likely tune as it is older and has that western flavor to it.
