besides cirrus where can i find a full length shearling that is very durable (B-3/ Irvan durable

cirrus does not look like it can hold up to daily wear 4 months per year plus it is not long enough... the leather looks a bit soft and flimsy...more for show than utility.

I was hoping you guys on here would be able to help me locate this... I have been lurking and searching and finally got the chance to post and can not find what I want anywhere...

i want one for my wife to live in durring the winter months of upstate NY

ankle length or at least mid calf

Looking for suggestions or help... didn't the BRAF have a coat like this? I can not find it anyhwere and saw it a couple years ago...

Have you tried Mill Valley sheepskin coat company? I saw one of theirs at the local thrift store a few weeks back, I am sure it is long gone by now. You may just have to search ebay and local thrift stores to find the right one for you.
I did a google search and did see that Mill Valley is in buisness still

OH! WELCOME!

Mill valley makes exactly whay I don't want. Not to sound trite but they are very "flimsy" and do not have that tough sheep hide look or feel. The suede like nature from what I saw will be dirty and nasty looking in weeks and the construction just would not be like aero or Other world.. I would by from Ow but they won"t make a full length... I will check my email once again to see if they rejected my request...

thanks for the tip though...I have scoured the web trying to find the one i saw a couple years ago... and cannot find it...:rage:

I'm not sure if the following will be long enough for what you're looking for, but here goes:

The AAF B-7 is going to be longer than the B-3. The Few makes an accurate repro:

They also make a ladies version:

These won't be cheap, tho. Also that white will be tough to keep clean.

Alpha makes a less accurate version of the B-7, available from US Wings (and prob. directly from Alpha for cheaper):

Perhaps your best bet would be going for a shearling-lined Aero Barnstormer:

You could maybe ask Aero to add a few inches to the bottom of the jacket? Depending on the height of the person, this might work.

Hope this helps.
