Hi!
I bought this gorgeous Y’2 jacket here from a fellow member - RevKev - and like him I learned the hard way about sizing. Additionally Weight lifting makes the pecs big and while a fit picture would have you guys saying it’s perfect- it’s just too tight for my liking so Catch and Release.
Here is the original post as it was perfect, accurate and well done.

Sale price is $325- my purchase price. Buyer pays shipping.

Y'2 has been the most frustrating brand for me size-wise. I purchased a single riders in size 40 and it was so tight in the arms that I actually broke some blood vessels in my biceps trying to get the damn thing off (not even joking)! I upgraded to a 42 and it fit fine but eventually ended up selling it. Recently, purchased another 42 from them in a different leather (same style jacket) and it does not fit at all, so now have to sell and hope to find it in a 44. It's been a costly experiment for sure!

Haha...You....Me...The Newt....the lineage continues. I too have been working out, and if I could give myself a size it would be a 41 (but will wear 40 in some cuts like my Schott). Went 40, NOPE...then 42 MEH...then 44. 44 fits best, 42 accentuates my work in progress gut. Been doing more high rep/lighter weight to get a toned bod, but if you bulk up, Fuggetaboutit. I do love their leather/quality though.

Their leather is a standout to me so far from all the other Japanese brands I've purchased. I have a horsehide Double Helix Western jacket that is gorgeous looking but the leather is stiff as shit. Y'2 will still have some stiffness but it's at least softer to touch and seemed to be more pliable overtime. Try as I may, I can't get this damn Double Helix to loosen up no matter how much I wear it! Its a good thing she's purty to look at otherwise she'd be on the chopping block!

I moved it on just like you guys did, LOL. The problem was that I bought it via proxy from Japan and didn't have good measurements like yours.

I love those sites you posted about the other day - I think it was for a hr-55 size 38. I’ve been trolling them hard.
