Hello everyone, I'm offering a beautifully crafted and now quite rare indigo-dyed horsehide car coat from Y’2 Leather of Japan, one of the most respected names in Japanese heritage leather. This is a standout piece both for its unique leather and its now-unavailable silhouette. The horsehide leather itself is supple and gorgeous. Not stiff so movement is easy. I love the contrast stitching as well.

Tagged a size 42, though in fit it corresponds more closely to a roomy 44, —too large for me (I wear a true 40), which is the only reason I’m letting it go. Plus I just don't think I'm a car coat person. The jacket is in mint condition: no signs of wear or creasing, no odor, and no patina development. It presents as new.
