Vintage Borsalino Alessandria
Dimensions:
5 1/2" Open Crown
2 7/8" Brim
1/4" Ribbon
This hat will need a professional cleaning, unless you feel like a DIY project. There are dirt stains on the brim, crown, and ribbon. It needs a reblock as there are a couple of crease lines, as can be seen in the first picture. Except for the dirt the felt is in great condition, very soft, lightweight, and malleable. The sweatband is a little dirty and is getting stiff, with a couple of cracks (though not tears) on the back. Liner is in good condition, the serial number is 65731, which if I understand correctly means that the hat is from 1965.
Size is marked 7 3/8, though it seems to have shrunk a bit, I think it is closer to a 7 1/4. Hat opening is 7 7/8" x 6 1/2"
The color is pretty accurate in the first three pictures, kinda of a light tan color.
