I have this awesome National Roller Derby program for sale, dated 1951. It's in excellent vintage condition with no folds or tears, lots of neat photos and fun articles. Also included are reprints of 2 of the most famous historic derby photos of all time, dated 1950.
Roller derby was at it's heyday in the 1940s and 1950s and this time period is a fascinating one in American sports. Derby was the last truly American sport invented, and allowed an unheard of outlet for socially acceptable female aggression.
