Original examples of these shirts are extremely rare as they are not an official government issue - they were made locally from semi-fabric theater by Special Forces during the early days of the Vietnam conflict as there was no official camouflage clothing.
A coat/shirt is more than just a shirt, it can be worn any way - layered or not, it works both ways. It has a subtle curve at the waist, giving it a flattering silhouette, and there's a deep, large interior pocket that's perfect for putting your savings. All buttons are covered within a neat envelope design, placed on the pocket's flap and ball. In my opinion it's the coolest combat shirt ever made, and this light Mitchell camo version is extra special.
