Not sure if anyone remembers, but I was here looking for a Fieldmaster for a couple months I think, and even longer before I knew what I was looking for.
Thanks to Claybertrand, who offered me to buy this jacket from him when it didn't work out for him.
Then about a week after it showed up, Tmitchell messaged me, about another one on ebay, it was in a bit nicer condition, and just closer to what I was looking for. It was also an absolute deal for me.
So now I have 2. I don't need 2.
I'm going to be selling the one from Clay here.

So this one has a Police Badge holder, which is a part I was never a super big fan of, but was told it was a bit rare for this jacket. I made a vague attempt to remove it, and sliced the stitching from the back of it on the front of the jacket. I think I did it fairly cleanly, and it could easily be sewn back down. I just checked to see if it'd be viable to remove, and saw that the leather behind it was either, A. dried out from half a decade of being behind the patch, or B. there was glue on the back of the patch, and it removed the top layer of leather when I peeled it back, so I did not do any further damage to it once seeing that.
It's knits are together, but they are very loose, and I'd suggest trying to get them replaced, or you could leave it as is, they aren't hurting anything, just they are loose.
I couldn't get particularly good photos of the knits, sorry.
This jacket doesn't have a tag indicating whether it's horsehide/steerhide, so I'd assume steerhide, but I have no idea how I could find out. It's also missing a size tag, and a material tag for the lining. All lining is intact, there are no holes in the jacket, except for stitching holes where the arm patch was(removed prior to me ever seeing this jacket.).
It does have the original Crown/Coats&Clark Zipper, and no teeth are missing.
