FS: Schott Perfecto PER70 Leather Jacket (sz. S but M or 38)

Schott Perfecto PER70 Leather Jacket (sz. S but objectively M).

$620. Shipping within EU included. Elsewhere, PM me. PP/FF.

Best jacket I got right now. Also the sturdiest. Vanson ain't got nothin' on this. Insanely massively heavy, naked cowhide. Lined in 100% pure cotton. Classic Perfecto features. Tank of a jacket. I mean it.
IMO, sickest piece Schott EVER came up with. Ever!

https://www.schottnyc.com/products/vintaged-jacket.htm

Wore it way less than I intended. No sings of use nor wear. Might as well be brand new. Gonna take you 2 years to properly break it in.

Reason for sale, primarily, I need money. Secondly, as per usual, light cotton lining limits wear time. Had it once since autumn and it's been too cold for it since. Just sits on the hanger. $1K+ jacket having no use saddens me.

Sized S (Small) which is BS. I can wear it over a sweater without any problems. It's M or 38 or so. Roomier than my 38 Sears! Check out the numbers below.
  • Chest 21 in / 53 cm
  • Length 25 in / 64 cm
  • Shoulders 18 in / 46 cm
  • Sleeve Length 26 in / 66 cm
  • Hem 19.5 in / 49 cm

I tried one on at the LA store. They are gorgeous. I had this one and 613sh on a wish list to scratch off that perfect perfecto look. The SH popped up first, otherwise would have been totally happy to land one of these eventually. Great price. Great jacket. Not the usual boxy Schott fit and has a lot of cool details.

Great jacket, amazing price.

Sell it now, then buy a 613S or 613SH in 38 down the line. Same pattern, but solves all of the issues that make the PER70 non-ideal for your uses. (Has the quilted lining, beautiful horsehide scent, no belt snap or pre-vintageing.)

I forgot to mention that my jacket is very lightly aged. It's prominent only on the sleeves and you can get rid of it with some shoe paste in five minutes, if it bothers you. I wanted to do it but never got around to it.

Very trim fitting, yep. Possibly the trimmest sleeves I've seen on any Perfecto. Twice as heavy as the 613, be it Horse or Steer; At least ones that I have handled.

Position of a warm, winter Perfecto with a quilted liner has been taken by my Walter Dyer, which is why I don't plan on buying anything new. At the moment, at least. Though if I could score a HH 613 in a size 40 (38 is too small for me), that'd be it.

Just to clarify, @TooManyHatsOnlyOneHead and I are referring to the 613SH, not the standard 613 in horsehide (613H), which is very nice but the leather, construction, and cut on the SH put it in another league.

But the Walter Dyer sounds fantastic!

I have been lurking this site for a while but never posted. Only purchased one jacket so far from a memeber on this site. Is this jacket located in Europe? If possble I would like to avoid paying import duty on it.

Hi. Yep, I'm in Europe, European Union even, so no taxes/duties if you're within the EU as well.

Damn it Ivan if this gets replaced by some Things Remembered charm bracelet…I’m flying over there and knocking some sense into you myself! This one was too cool to sell!
LOL. No judgements. I’ve done the same myself. Congrats to the buyer. Outstanding bargain in a great jacket!

Absolutely not & I am shocked, appalled and deeply saddened you would even think so! The funds will be invested exclusively into utterly important life necessities such as most basic household items. If you absolutely must know. . .
