A large size steerhide flight jacket by Schott. Of all the makers of that era who makes this type of synthetic fur collar flight jackets, Schott (& perhaps Sears) stood out as the most prolific. Lou Reed, Patti Smith, Mercury all have been seen wearing one. This style is on par with the cross zip MC jacket & populated NYC people’s back throughout the 70s-80s.
This one has one surface peel but otherwise very much together & strong. The pocket stitching were all enforced by Johnson, so it’s actually stronger than the original condition.
