Mint condition Schott 626 in brown distressed leather size medium. Beautiful jacket. No flaws. No odors. Only worn a time or two outside the house. Only selling because it's too nice to be a closet queen.

Style and Fitment

Bought it last year and hoped I could make it fit but it's just too tight for me. Would LOVE to have a 618 in this leather. I wear a 42 in the 618 with room to spare and can wear a 40. This jacket fits much like a 40 but without the bi-swing back it's tighter in the shoulders. Also longer in the sleeves and body. Here are the measurements:

Chest (pit to pit): 20 inches
Waist: 19 inches
Sleeves (shoulder to cuff): 25.5 inches
Back: 26 inches

$300 (PayPal F&F) shipped anywhere in the continental US.

I'm interested in this jacket. Is this model still in production? The current 626 and 626VN don't have the star on the epaulets, but they do feature bi-swing back panels.

This jacket is no longer in production as it was the original 626. It has the antique brass stars and no bi-swing back. There is a new version (the 626VN) that Schott is offering now and, supposedly, the only differences are no stars, a different distressing and (according to the Schott Website) a bi-swing back. Although I've heard from at least one owner of a 626VN who said it did not have a bi-swing back. The photos on the Schott Website show no bi-swing back. If you're interested in the newer version, and if a bi-swing back is important to you, I'd put a call in to Schott before ordering just to see who is correct on that issue.

Personally, I didn't need the bi-swing, but I do need about an inch off the bottom and an inch off the sleeves. Otherwise, this is the perfect casual jacket for me. I'd pay their retail price to have a 618 size 40 in this leather! Also, noting differences between this and the 618, the zipper is on top of the wrist on this jacket and there is no leather gusset behind the sleeve zippers.
