FS - Lewis Leathers Jacket

Not sure of the model but this is a vintage Lewis Leathers jacket in a tagged size 38.

Everything is in great working condition, all original. Leather is in great condition, as is the liner. No odd smells, etc.

Jacket has very small nick on one arm that I’ve posted a photo of. This is a scratch and does not go through the leather.

Jacket is missing a zipper pull ball on the right sleeve. Zipper works perfectly.

Measurements:

PTP - 20”
Sleeve - 25”
Length - 25.25”
Shoulder - 19”

That's exactly what it is. Introduced to the LL line in 1978. I would guess this is probably an original from the 78-85ish period, as later on the linings in most Lewis jackets went black, I think. It's not one of the more modern "revivAL" versions, as they are all red lined, and the logo label now carries the Aviakit Wings again. Would be interesting to see the internal label, if one still survives. At a guess, if the main zip is original (could be a replacement), I'd date this one into the early-mid eighties, before the sleeve-zip pocket on the left rm disappeared again (they were extended throughout the Lewis line in the sixties, starting from the Twin Track Bronx, introduced in 1966 to mark the tenth anniversary of the introduction of the original Lewis Bronx).
