For Sale: Langlitz Columbia with Cascade Collar.

Ebay purchase that is too large for me. Too bad, the jacket is amazing. A police jacket issued in 1987. Seriously heavy cowhide, on par with my Lost Worlds and Vanson Chopper, probably heavier.

The main zipper was replaced with a large YKK that works flawlessly

All other zippers work perfectly - Talon.

Small tear in lining-- see pic. Otherwise perfect.

No odors.

Measurements:

Pit to Pit: 26 inches
Shoulder to Shoulder: 21 inches
Sleeve length: 27 inches
Length: 27 inches

Cannot beat Langlitz- too bad about the fit. Once you have custom Langlitz you keep pinching yourself.

Told it was a 44 lol. Can you believe it? Posted Measurements were a bit off when I purchased too. Oh well. Great jacket. The right sized bubba is out there somewhere.

Oh I can believe it. eBay and accurate measurements rarely align.

Both jackets i bought on the classifieds had wrong measurements too!
You would think that by now TFL members would know that a Stanley rigid tape measure is designed to measure lumber, not clothing. But no...

Why thank you. I think you should train the guy who sold me the jacket, he used a soft tape measure. I assure you my measurements are good. Plus, I used a soft packing tape that I ran directly on the jacket from point to point, cut it, then measured with my “lumber” tape to confirm. If done carefully it’s fine. But I rummaged around for a soft tape measure, for any newly created doubters. See P2P pics. All other measurements also good.

Sorry, I was not implying your measurements were wrong, just that ebay wasn't the only place where measurements where taken wrong, and that even here where we discuss things like that all day long some people get measurements wrong...
