Keep the HD. You'll regret selling. Great shape, and I also have never seen those zippers on them. I have two already, and if it was my size I'd buy it.

the specs on the Sportster would fit me like a glove. Only thing I'm worried about is the sleeve "poofiness" lol. It's my one pet peeve. Prefer them narrow.

Can you measure the bicep area and wrist opening? Like lay it flat and one side measurement kind of thing.

And also the bottom hem measurement please.

Any guess on the age and all that? But looks real nice. Don't notice the pinholes, just a few scuffs and what not, but obviously totally normal (and some nice character) for vintage.

I think if the HD Sportster is a tight fit, the poofiness is acceptable. Just make sure you don't have any room for layering. Wear it skin tight. This is how I wear mine

^^^^ yes, exactly the look I'm going for. 19 shoulder, 23 ptp is my magic number. If the bottom hem and abdomen are good numbers, I might be in.

so those sleeves weren't altered for you? They look about perfect for me. Usually a 7.75 inch on the upper arm, 6 inch around the forearm area, and 5-5.25 on wrist opening again is magic for me.

Nope, all original. I think having the sleeves of the sportster altered would be ruining the jacket. This is a photo from the back. Yes the upper sleeves are wide but I think it perfectly suits the overall look of the jacket. If the measurements are right I would go for it! It's a great jacket.

The question about HD Sportster:
Is that the cut or what at hem area from the front on the chest pocked side of the jacket (deeply beneath chest pocket, alvost at the hem)?

No cuts. Just creases and or natural markings / scars in the hide before it was dyed.
