Created by FL's own Mark Fisher, this jacket is intended for daily wear and hard use. Unfortunately, I grew and it doesn't fit anymore. Mark built this for me about 5 years ago and it has maybe been worn a dozen times since. It's a mid-weight HORSEHIDE, dark cordovan color and is not even broken in yet. Only the finest materials were used. This was made under Mark's old label of SUPERIOR FLIGHT APPAREL. It's sort of a hybrid design between an M-65 jacket and classic safari cut. I wanted something more rugged but still stylish and that's what Mark created. His craftsmanship is amazing as the many posts on FL can attest!

The measurements are: CHEST (pit-to-pit) 22.5", SLEEVES (From point of shoulder to end of cuff) 25", LENGTH (from base of collar to bottom edge) 29", SHOULDERS (across the upper back) 19". There may be normal light wear to elbows or welted seams, but this only adds to the character and is what quality leather is intended. This is from a NON-SMOKING HOME, and has no funky odors or damage of any kind.

Features: Light olive cotton twill lining, Button cuffs (slightly over-sized to allow for big watches), heavy brass YKK zipper, Heavy duty brass side buckles, Bi-fold shoulders for easy movement, vented pits with brass grommets, 1-piece back upper panel. Please feel free to ask questions!

It is designed to fit a bit more form-fitting as a size 44, but if you want a more roomy feel, then consider it a 42. I'm asking only $650 OBO, shipped in CONUS. Slightly more for international shipping. I would also consider trades for size 46 AERO or EASTMAN jacket (or comparable) items. Let me know what you have!

Thanks Monitor. It is a nice crossover jacket. Longer than normal halfbelts and classy enough to be worn for an evening out. The color goes with either blacks or browns. It tends to sit with a bit more of a tampered waist look. Yet, the horsehide is thick enough that it can pretty much stand in a corner by itself if rolled!

Here's a link that will take you to SUPERIOR FLIGHT APPAREL website. Click on the MINNESOTA ADVENTURER and you can see THIS EXACT JACKET in many more detail shots. As the descriptions says, this beautiful jacket is made from a Medium weight, seal brown Horween oil-pull Horsehide. Lots of great detail closeups!
