I have a 40L Military Issued Cooper G1 jacket that I am letting go. Looking for $120 Paypalled and shipped. In great shape small white spot on arm and small rubbing mark on the left sleeve.

New to TheFedoraLounge, but I have good feedback on different watch forums, and can provide references.

Size 40L, pit-pit 19"... how does that work?
After googling how to measure pit to pit it seems I measured wrong. This is my first time selling a jacket, because usually I hoard them or give them away.

Actual Pit to Pit is 22 inches from one seam to the other.

Ah okay that makes sense now.
Nice jacket but the sleeves are too long for me. Is it goat skin?
Good luck with the sale.

I'd consider a trade for the Brooks MC jacket I'm selling now for a similar price. It's a standard cotton lining right? Not quilted?

I am actually hunting for a new leather jacket like this, but I think your jacket is a bit big. The only reason I am selling this is because I need a size 38. If I were bigger or your jacket were a bit smaller we could have made a perfect trade!

Haha oh well. Almost eh

Best of luck on your sale and hunt! FYI I find getting the fit of MC jackets right quite tricky and I tend to find them a bit bigger on me than the measurements suggest. That's just my limited experience, but maybe it helps.

I have an Excelled 38R if you are interested I can take pics and measurements. I am otherway round 38 too small for me 40R perfect!

That's nuts. I actually really like Excelled. What is the measurement in the back? One of the vintage shops in my city has an Excelled 40R, but it is a little bit short. I have a hard time finding leather jackets used because I am 6'2" and a lot of the regular sizes end up not even hitting my waist. But I have also noticed a lot of sizing differences between makers. So depending on the back length of your jacket we might be able to work out a deal!

I will check the sizes and put it on tomorrow but if you are 6’2” it will be too short I think especially at the sleeves. I am 6’ and it’s a shade too small hence the reluctant sale

Unfortunately it is a bit too small. Being tall is a curse. Great for reaching things in the kitchen bad for buying clothes.

Ive noticed Cooper "long" sizes tend to run shorter. Anyone else had that experience? I had a 40L a2 and it only measured 24" seam to bottom hem.
