No signs of wear are evident, this looks like a new jacket. There is a small scar on one elbow, a minor natural blemish that in no way detracts from the jacket. See photos.

Terms: $650 USD shipped to CONUS

Payment: I can accept a money order by certified mail at 100% of agreed price, or PayPal. +3% if using PayPal unless you're using the friend/family option.

Trades: I'm primarily interested in cash, but may consider trading for similar quality/value jackets in excellent condition. Aero, Vanson, Langlitz, Cal Leather, Thedi preferred. I am especially interested in Aero Wayfarer, Langlitz Cascade, and Vanson Arrow models. Send photos and the usual measurements with all trade offers.

If you need additional photos, measurements, or questions answered, just ask. Shoot me an offer if you want, but nothing lowball please. I will not be lowering my asking prices, but will consider a reasonable offer.

Did you size down on this..? That is, are you a 42 in other Aero halfbelts do you know?

I generally wear a 42 jacket, in recent years after gaining a lot of muscle in my shoulders from swimming regularly I've found that I often need to go up to a 44.

I own, or have owned, several other Aero jackets: A half-belt deluxe (44) which fits very nicely, a highwayman (42) which felt tight on me, and was too short so I moved it on, another highwayman (40) which fits me very nicely, a bootlegger (36) which fit me surprisingly well, if form-fitting, that I later sold after acquiring another bootlegger (44) which fits well and I can layer under. This 50's half-belt is the only 50's half-belt I've tried on, and it actually fits me surprisingly well for a size 40. I would say a true 40 or 38 wearer could layer under it, and a true 42 could wear it comfortably over a shirt but not a sweater.

I'll post some fit pics. For reference, I'm 5'10" 180lbs, athletic build.

Fit pics as promised. Please excuse the poor lighting, the blurriness, and the model.

Only reason I'm selling it is that I need to make some room in my closet. I don't need to sell it, but I am paring down my wardrobe to the essentials after trying out a bunch of things over the past few years to see what I like.
