Made in California ACE Engineer boots. I've heard these were made in the same factory as Julian boots, which also produced Rrl engineer boots from early period. having owned both Julian and Rrl boots. Although I am not absolutely sure, I am quite convinced so.
Thick and pliable cowhide, rich brown color, beautiful old style roller buckels. very nice looking "bubble" round toe last. more elegantly built and dressy than rugged and heavy duty like Wesco. a great pair of vintage style engineer boots

marked size 8.5E, runs larger, equivalent of 9E, therefore 9E in the title.
