FS: '50s SB overcoat in indeterminate colour

anon`

One Too Many
Really... I've concluded that this coat is some long-lost cousin of "officer's pink", as it looks pink at least as often than anything else. It's very neutral and--apparently--very difficult-to-photograph shade of something. But that neutrality makes it play well with every other colour. And it's one heckuva rain coat. I don't often throw around the word "gabardine", but in this case I'm pretty sure that's what the thing's made of.

Coat itself is, obviously, single breasted with a three-button fly front and includes a sleeveless zip-out wool liner. One pass-through slash pocket on each hip and one vertical interior pocket on the left. Edge stitching all around with a decorative seam down the outside of each sleeve, terminating in false half-cuffs.

It does need some work: the buttonholes (all three) need to be repaired. The top two have lost their reinforcement and the bottom on is on it's way out. There is also a short (just under an inch) "tear" on the back of the coat, just above the vent, where several threads of the warp (or is it the weft?) have broken. The other set of threads are intact, but it should be repaired before heavy use; I didn't discover this until after I'd stopped wearing the coat awhile back.
I can also have any of these repaired by my tailor here, if you'd like.

Chest: 24"
Shoulders: 20"
Coat Length: 43"
Sleeve Length: 26"

Asking $85 shipped in CONUS.

Cheers!
