Selling these because I switched entirely to 30s-40s vintage ties with fancy patterns, now preferring these to the classic designs like polka dots, solids with surface interest, stripes etc. As far as cut and fabrics is concerned, these are very good 30s-lookalike ties in the classic (fabric-)patterns which are actually harder to find in originals than the more fancy, period-specific patterns like the 30s brocades.
Things worth noting:
The edges of the blades are either frayed, handrolled or welted (folded twice).
They are finished with a loop at the small end of the tie which is there to relax the shape of the tie in case it gets twisted forcibly. It's a modern standard which is quite useful. All ties are sewn by hand with a thread running through the length of the tie, as per standard. They're 3-fold with one layer of interlining, as per 30s patterns. Some of the wool ties have a reduced amount of interlining (some only at the neck section where it's really necessary) in order to get that thin knot. I have cut the ties so that the knot is as balanced a shape as possible, given the material, not too short and not too long. The length of the knot is a function of the width of the blade at certain sections that form the knot. If the tie is quite narrow at the centermost part of the rear half (out of the entire tie), then the knot can be even tinier yet retain a good length (which comes from a section at the upper part of the front half of the tie - the "front" of the knot, if that makes sense).
