Cross post from my eB*y sale Here. Yours for $225/delivered conus, payment by PayPal f&f or add 4%. You are admiring a barn fresh example of an exceptionally rare Nam era US Army issued M65 Field Coat from 1966 (first pattern). A little dirty, but honestly this is in fantastic condition overall. I would go so far as to guess it has never been washed. Still has rich dark olive drab color and starchy hand feel. No tears, holes, evidence of removed patches or repairs, and all buttons are intact. Zippers, snaps and Velcro closured all operable as they should. Background: The first pattern M65 was produced for one year in 1966 and differs from the commonly seen second version in its cut (it fits slimmer) and lack of shoulder epaulets. It also features aluminum zippers, which were swapped in later years to brass. Tagged Regular Medium, but please see measurements to decide fitment: Chest- 24” Shoulders- 20.5” Sleeves- 24” Back length (collar seam to hem)- 31” |
